History and Sustainability Colloquium at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Cambridge The Documenting Environmental Change project was set up following a colloquium held on this theme at the University of Cambridge in September 1999. It aims to promote interdisciplinary work on historical environmental change by facilitating contacts and the exchange of information between scholars at the University of Cambridge and in the wider world. The menu provides an easy guide around the project's resources, including a register of interdisciplinary research projects, a regularly updated news page, and links to other researchers and centres working on similar themes. Look at the 'What's New?' page for the most recent updates to this site. Documenting Environmental Change is based at the Centre for History and Economics at King's College, Cambridge, and is part of the Common Security Forum programme on Environmental Security. The project is generously supported with a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation A searchable database of environmental research covering all disciplines within the University of Cambridge is provided by the Cambridge Environmental Initiative (CEI).
